International Student ID Card

What is an International Student ID?

The International Student Identity Card (ISIC) was created by the International Student Travel Center (ISTC), a non-profit organization in 1950, and became more active with support from UNESCO since 1976. Currently, it is recognized by more than 100 member countries and is a must-have identification card for students who want to travel abroad or study abroad. Since our student ID uses only the ISTC design, a certification sticker must be attached to the back of the ID to have practical benefits, or a separate international student ID must be issued.

How to Apply

How to Get an International Student ID
Eligibility	Undergraduate and graduate students (Graduates are not eligible.)
Procedure	Fill out an online application form Go to the online application for an International Student ID The English names of the student ID and the passport must be identical. Deposit issuance fee to the virtual account. Visit the Student Support Team to receive the International Student ID.
Types and fees	A sticker on the back of a student ID card: KRW 14,000 International Student ID Card: KRW 17,000 (Subject: Students without an ID card or foreigners) Choose one of two types

Certification sticker: (As of this year), Valid until the end of next March

International student card: Valid for one year from the month of issue

Guidance on International Student ID (ISIC) functions

The student card borrowed only the design of ISIC. To use it as an ISIC, an ISIC-certified sticker must be attached to the back of the student ID card. (Refer to the note at the bottom of the back of the Inha University student card.)
ISIC card expiry date
- Front: Starting month of ISIC validity (month/year)
- Back: Month of expiration (month/year)
(If the start and expiration months of the above are not marked, it may not be certified by ISIC or be eligible for benefits.)
If the validity period has expired, it is not valid as an international student ID, so you must obtain a certification sticker and extend the validity period.
